After having my son, I was struggling with postpartum anxiety. I started reading romance books as a way to decompress after a long day. What started as a way to relax quickly became a passion. I wanted to take that passion and turn in into something bigger. In June of 2026 I started Yours Truly Books HTX. A space where romance readers feel at home and love seeing romance stories get the spotlight they deserve.

We're a romance-only bookshop serving the greater Houston area through local markets, pop-up events, and online sales. Every book we carry is hand-picked. Our blind date bundles are curated by trope and spice level so you always find exactly what your heart is looking for. And our custom commission orders mean we can build the perfect book experience for any occasion — birthdays, bridal showers, book clubs, or just because you deserve something special.
